So maybe the name of my blog should be changed, seeing as it’s not really appropriate, although maybe you will find it is.

In good ole’ sunny San Diego, there’s rarely an opportunity for SD not to be “Sun diego fun diego” but all the things that come along with this amazing place we live…the hot chicks, the hot “dicks” and the self-inflated egos that sometimes go along with these can make for an interesting time in SD.

TODAY’S TOPIC: men in San Diego…and for you men in San Diego, I highly reccommend you keep reading, because I’m about to give you insight into what us women, girls, chicks, whatever you feel the need to call us on a particular day, are feeling about you SD men…..you are lost souls.

First off- a date, does not entail inviting us to meet up with you and your friends at a bar…..I mean seriously, I had better dates than that my freshman year of college…or high school, for that matter.  Here’s a novel idea, plan something, make A PLAN.  It won’t kill you, neither would making a commitment for that matter.  So commit to

A DATE, A PLAN with a girl.  And make it a good one.  Don’t invite me to a bar with you and your friends and assume that I’m going to be impressed. 

Speaking of impressed…..admittedly being a bartender for a profession does not lead us to be impressed, although it might work for some of the newly 21 year old SD girls, and if that’s who you’re shooting to impress, continue on, don’t get any greater ambition than to serve wasted people more drinks to give them the one eye squint. 

Here’s an important tip as well: get a car, get a real job- no, unemployment, as cool as it might sound to your ears as it comes out of YOUR mouth, is just not impressive- and get a clue.  On that note, here’s a little clue: don’t assume that texting has completely given you a “get out of conversing” free card.  While you men in SD have severly caused the majority of women in SD to lower our standards, we do still have some self-worth, and some standards…..well, some of us do anyways.

You cannot expect us to be impressed when we don’t hear from you for a week, or you randomly dissapear, and then magically appear like “Houdini” to text us.  Magic tricks were impressive back when Crayolas were exciting.  There is something important to be said for playing hard to get, but only to a certain extent.  Play too hard to get, and we’ll think YOU think you’re just too cool, and then we’re over it, and on to the next victim.  Actually, I think more accurate for us SD women stuck in this stagnant dating pool is that we move on to BECOME the next victim, of yet another flat brimmed, egocentric “dude.”

While you SD men are on your shopping sprees for the next best, greatest thing out there, we’re all passing you by……
